Racine County is the recipient of a grant from the Komen Foundation which will allow us to provide informational sessions about the risks of breast cancer for the women of Racine County. Additionally, there will be someone at each session who can answer your questions and register you for a mammogram at little or no cost to you.
The goal is to encourage 500 women to get a mammogram. If you are between age 30 and age 64 and have never had a mammogram, or if you have not had a mammogram in the last two years, there is a program available to assist you.
This important program is sponsored by the Racine Health Department, in collaboration with the Health Care Network, Parish Nurse Association, Wisconsin Well Woman Program, the Jane Cremer Foundation, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and Aurora Health Care.
Funded in part by the Susan G. Komen Foundation
